The Revelation

From the middle of a dream, I woke to find A light bulb burning in my mind The answers were there that I’d been searching for And I knew that tomorrow would be just fine Tomorrow would be just fine And now since I woke, I stare at the mirror The revelation comes flashing back, But it’s foggy and not so clear I try to do rewind and playback to find, the revelation, hidden in my mind There was a certain conversation, about saving my salvation But the application, got lost in the translation of my mind Maybe I should try some meditation, to bring back the revelation Because the restoration of my own salvation is hanging on the line hmmmm- damn what was the revelation Yes, my world is split in two One on the left and one on the right And I’m straddling both sides, like a 3-legged fool Life and exaltation are what I’m tryin’ to fix But the only thing I find, The resurrection of the revelation, is taking it’s sweet time There was a certain conversation, about saving my salvation But the application, got lost in the translation of my mind Maybe I should try some meditation, to bring back the revelation Because the restoration of my own salvation is hanging on the line hmmmm- damn what was the revelation Well, the duration of my day, will not be spent in any exciting way But instead in a quiet desperation, of the subliminal exploration In hope and anticipation, that through divine inspiration I’ll receive instructions on how to remember, The revelation There was a certain conversation, About saving my salvation I guess I’ll send an invitaion, For another revelation Cuz it’s my own salvation, That’s hanging on the line It’s hanging on the line
