The Rest Unknown

A coach? A role model? A hero? Maybe to somebody. Perhaps you made up for your cowardice somewhere else with someone else. A father? I wouldn't know. Maybe to another child. To me an abandoner, the rest unknown. 5-22-2021

I, sadly, have known more than one man who left their children, my own husband's father left the family when my husband was only seven or eight, and he has struggled with that for his entire life, this is penned so skillfully, and I see congratulations are in order too! (ps am faving as well!)

This one's not personal for me, but inspired by a conversation with someone who told me that their dad wasn't a part of their life and denied that he was the dad. Sad situation. On the positive, I wondered if that person could be a present father for another... Probably not though.
