The Real Her
You see the tears
In her eyes
The cuts on her
Wrist
Legs
Chest
Her world spins
As she blinks
The pain away
She drowns in
Her blood
Her tears
She puts on a smile
Pretending she’s okay
Only she can see
The falsehood she hides behind
Her chest tightens
She begins to spin
Everything goes blurry
God, the way she is
It’s so wrong
I hate looking
In the mirror
