The Rape of Eternity
He was raped; and his tears were grave.
The face of Nature changed. Eternally…
Yet, the colour of sky remained and
the sun still forthcoming in greeting.
Though, as for his clouds, there had been many.
Heavy.
She was raped; and her tears pronged my soul.
The face of Nature changed. Eternally…
Yet, there are birdsong in the meadow and
the oceans break delight to the shores.
Though, as for her clouds, there had been many.
Heavy.
They were raped; and their tears pained my heart.
The face of Nature changed. Eternally…
Yet, the smell of birth the same and
the smiles of rosebuds velvety tasting.
Though, as for their clouds, there had been many.
Heavy.
Time was raped; and Nature’s tears, them cry.
Life’s face was changed. Eternally.
Yet, our Mother’s Love spans ages and
God is.
Though, as for our clouds, there be many.
Heavy.
