The Rainbow's Center
Green the color of many things,
It finds an object stays and clings,
It loves the trees, the plants, the grass,
Green spreads and conquers shiny brass.
With desire for more to find and claim,
Green worked its way to my last name,
Green gives life to springtime flowers,
Moldy Green destroys, devours.
Green meets friends in the rainbow’s center,
Where the side of the arc he dare not venture,
Nature's throne Green has won,
But he wholly depends on the golden sun.
