The Rain
Falling ever so gently
My tears mix with the rain.
It foreshadows
the coming pain,
the past pain,
the present pain.
But I know
these unexpected storms
only water the conquerer within.
So these trifling setbacks,
shouldn't make me cry at all.
But they do.
