The Quiet Storm

Snowflakes fall and hit the ground. There they land without a sound. I watch this from my window. Listening to the Winter wind blow. I hear it whipping through the trees and know it is not just a breeze. Winter weather is abound, Spring is next to come around.

Hi Karen. I've been honored with the #1 best new poet mention, which means I'm the new kid on the block. I like your poem. I have written several (some posted) poems about snow and/or winter. Those themes, along with the coming of spring are favorites of mine. Nicely done. Drop by anytime, my friend. Peace and blessings, Mel :)
