The Puzzle
Weeks before he left my life
I could only dream of his touch
Listening to his jokes
Missing the kids so much
My heart became a puzzle
Pieces scattered far and near
As I put it back together
I felt nothing but fear
I scambled to find the pieces
Day by day I tried
The more I put it together
The more I cried
Some of the pieces were missing
Leaving the puzzle incomplete
He must have taken them with him
Leaving me with thoughts of deceit
