The Promise of Today

stars revere the rising sun and bow out of sight, refractory shadows lift, revealing rays of light, illuminating, misty, ruffled, canopies on trees, rippling waters humming, in the gentle morning breeze, sacred song birds, fill the air, in a choral litany, beneath a dome, a colorful horizon, splattered vividly. "The Promise Of Today" was an enjoyable read for me this morning. I especially love how you describe the stars revering the morning sun and then bowing out of sight. This is a wonderful poem and going straight into my faves. Have a beautiful morning Paulette :-)

Paulette, I admire your ability to describe so much beauty, so eloquently in only three stanzas and six lines. I ramble in my writing while you synthesize succinctly. That's what I call a gift. Thanks for the pick me up. R/Terry
