The Prison of the Soul
The Prison Of The Soul
We each must face are chief aim to come
We run & hide just to protect away are fun
The sign on the road read stop yet we kept going
We each seek pleasure out of things that don't please
A sermon may soon deliver yet doesn't knock you to your knees
There's a fine line between heaven & hell
A word of truth to be able to tell
The prison of the soul starts in the heart
We watch Hollywood to see where we need to start
Mental illness is nothing in which to play with
A sorted breach of security that one could give
There is much torment in the fragmentation of the mind
For many once could see yet for now their blind
The casualties are enormous for a stated cause that's plain atrocious
I cried out to God in search for his direction
The crowd of the noise polution hits heavy in crazy ways
In mere solace we long for a parting quest
To help end the inner torment of suffering amidst the pain
Heavy explosive words can leave you feeling helpless & uneasy
Stick close to loved ones and family amidst every tragic circumstance
We all must overcome to take part in the dance
