The Pouring Rain Unceasingly They Melt

LI The pouring rain unceasingly they melt The hardened grime and filth upon this grave That failed and yet so cold it may be felt A loss of such which I could never save The grievous rain still gently floods mine eyes That breach again the walls that ought restrain Yet rues my heart with guilt that never dies And tears the hurt away and ease the pain Now then I pray that often it might rain I only ask for grace enough to see The one alone to whom my soul remains So steadfast through the storm where I may flee The seeds of sorrow sown will not be vain For when tomorrow comes the Son shall reign
