The Plague of Bad Luck
The lies you conceal
Like Knives behind
Honey soaked words
A fire in your house
Stolen goods in your purse
All it took was just one touch
To spread your plague of bad luck
How bright you seemed to shine
But you were secretly the night
Fighting to swallow the beams of light
Now into my world
Like a virus of corruption
Your poison corrodes
With a breath of seduction
Your name - even harsh against my tongue
Should have been a sign
That I should have instilled a ward
But you peeled away my layers
Gaining awe in a moment
Enough time to plant your seed
To break apart a home
Your filled with bad luck
And cocky enough to flaunt it
I should have known better
But you could have stopped it.
