Good evening Sara, This is simply beautiful. I know the feeling I know it sounds funny but our trees always picked us. Just something about them. Love this poem As Always, Shar

What lovely haiku and story behind it. Thank you for sharing. Brings to my mind how many special people, moments, natural items get overlooked.

Well, in my tree searching days, those perfect trees always looked more perfect in the forest than in the livingroom.. but with decorations .. they were "perfection", very pretty poem~~

Ah, so this is your entry. Those evergreens never do have a "perfect" shape; each one is different, just as people are. Good luck in the contest with this wonderful entry, Sara. Love, Carolyn

One Christmas at the tree farm where we usually went there was this tree that trees all around had been cut and it was left.I touched it and the needles had this feel that was different.I walked around it and told the man that worked there that was the one that I wanted.I said I don't know why it had not been chosen. He said I know what you mean.People have walked all around this one but not choose it.He said I was going to cut it for myself if no one got it today. It was just perfect for home.SK
