The Perfect Painting
*The Perfect Painting*
On a canvas like none other
I began to sculpt all of mankind
I began with a single piece of clay and a thought
A thought of love…
I desired love of unprecedented proportions
So I created the most unparalleled piece of art
I created man…
In
my
own
image
I took my Creator’s paintbrush
And with just one stroke
My love created you
…Yes you
And all of mankind
With my heart for creativity in mind
I desired to have a race of people just like me
A race of gentle-hearted people
That went about populating the earth
As miniature ME’s
Depositing love flowers
And a sense of security
Then one day a snake came along
He dumped mud upon my canvas
And tried to destroy my masterpiece
He was unsuccessful as you can see
For every time a new day begins
Every time a new sunset or sunrise is shown
It is a gentle reminder that I have won in the end
I Am the master Creator…
I am God…
I am the Author…
I am the Great Painter…
I am a Designer…
And I created you!
So whenever you arise in the morning
And whenever you retire from your long day
Just remember the author and finisher of your faith
Believe on me and you shall have everlasting life!
Love, Jesus Christ
