The Perfect Body
The Perfect Body
I know Lord, no matter what we do to ourselves, no matter how hard we try
The perfect body will rarely be seen by the human eye.
The perfect body along with the perfect face
Can only be acquired through your loving grace.
The following I ask of Thee for all to see
So we may be the people you meant for us to be.
God bless our legs so we may walk the path of righteousness
And have the strength to run far away from the road of nothingness.
God bless our arms so we may cradle the Holy Spirit
So we may lovingly caress, nurture and cherish it.
God bless our hands so they may hold on to what is Truth
And toss away the evil lies which we've held since our youth.
God bless our minds so we may think Peace
And to truly believe in loving one another so all the fighting will cease.
God bless our eyes so we can see the beauty in everyone
And to be worthy witnesses of all that you have done.
God bless our hearts so they may be filled with Love, Hope and Charity, a home for Christ Jesus
Bless us with a warm loving soul so He may faithfully dwell within us.
