I often sit and ponder On what our lives could someday be, If we truly understood The hearts of everyone we see. We pass by many strangers In all the places that we go, Forgetting lonely faces Of lifelong friends we’ll never know. I hate to be so musing But I just simply wonder why, We scarcely share a smile With all the people we pass by…
