The Peachy Dress

In an old tattered arttic far from here there hangs a peach dress Treasured so Dear It was worn by sweet Lady Mam; To a dance long ago, a pretty Lady, very shy, but Her Eyes Were a glow Her hair was done Her peach dress was trimmed, And the Poet's across the room looked up and grinned he asked Her to Dance and they danced all Night, then said farewell by the first Morning light Grandma read Her story Here and never finished but a tear rolls down Her wrinkled cheek as She clut peach dress their peaceful World Was shattered whence guess He joined thee writing group and then said Amen She never saw Him again Her love had died,but whenever She Looks at the peach dress,She feel dancing by His side.
