The Path Evolves

The Path Evolves I have gone too far to turn back now; To the person I was once before. Should I decide to take a glimpse; It alters the road ahead even more. I have changed too much in years past; To worry as a frightened deer. I have put away self sabotage; And thrown away all fears. I am me more than ever; The person I always hoped to be. Walking my own chosen path; Living with truth and integrity. Should I cast off shadows of past; The journey from there to here? For each one gave me strength; And lessons to adhere. I am me and you are you; We need not be as twins. For often in the natural world; The wolf and bear are friends. By: Darlene Doll Smith
