The Path

Young traveler always searches the unknown Always looks under every stone Fallows the path that summer wind has blown He has great knowledge even if he is alone Even if he is caged his soul is always free He knows what lies beyond mountain’s majesty The idea itself in full spectrum of spirit is his destiny He is like the breeze from deep sea He fallows the winter that has very heart in icy grip Sometimes he boards an ocean going ship He sees everything from Gobekli Tepe to Komodo dragons on his trip He knows the secrets of sacred fellowship He fallows the bird as he looks toward the skies He fallows the stars of the wise He’s destiny is in abstract abyss that lies In his lover’s enchanting dreamy eyes
