The Path

Through the midnight wanderings On darkened paths of yore The world may have been different With love, yet to explore He wandered in the moonlight Upon the night he wed With sounds of nature, enticing Seduction is where it led The path through which he traveled To him was all too new Her loving hand to guide him Was moonlight shed for two Together they would travel Upon this darkened course Entering love’s eternal night Consuming them with force This night, they shall remember Placed ever in their dreams The night that they went hand in hand Down the path to find their stream.
