The Past

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” ? Rumi The stain of your past rubs you raw. The skin peels into blackness and even the blood drains dark red. The pleads of, you have no idea, bubble from your lips The indigo brush of vileness has coated you. You have drank from the goblet of unquenchable lust. You have ate from the table of insatiable carnal desire. And yet here we are. Who made me God to judge? Who bestowed me the power to forgive or condemn? The past of yesterday is buried and it's ghosts will not haunt me. Stop for one moment and wait. Look for the reasons I love you and not the reasons I won't.
