The Past

You say it was only in the past For what it means nothing Now it bit you in the ass Did you feel something? For I used to be a fool Being blinded by beauty, only being used For you were my everything, god even my soul You surrounded me for which I couldn’t abuse I took off the blind folds Letting open the flood gates As in your heart I tried to enroll but it was the mere mockery of fool’s gold For I truly thought we were mates but for now my heart still awaits How can you mean so much To which I thought this would be easy In my heart you will always be my royal Dutch I know it’s a little cheesy but for you am a little crazy
