The Painting
I saw a painting on the wall in the hall near my room
Of a woman and a child walking hand in hand near a sand dune
As they walked to the ocean I saw the sky so bright with clouds of white and blue
No one else was there but the child the woman the ocean and the sky
How I wish I were there too
The painting was so peaceful, quite, and serene
It was one of the lovelyest paintings I have ever seen
