The Outside Tidy Up

The Outside Tidy up. What on earth am I going to write today, To keep up my poems for one every day? I've told of the blitz on the house inside, Now it was the turn of the scruffy outside. Cleaned out the waterfall, made it look grander Refilled it and placed it back on the veranda I shifted the bags of compost and peat, Now the front is getting tidy and neat. I then moved round to work on the back, The broken down cabinet was first to go, So I could store winters logs, row upon row. Now where to put all the gardening stuff? The old log box would hold all, good enough. Tomorrow, back front and side I will blast, With the blower and that maybe the last. Well tired but glad of a job that's now finished, Showered and ready for dinner, I'm famished. Wishful thinking I know,I hope it comes true, That Fran doesn't find me something to do. © Dave Timperley 07 August 2016
