Up beyond the silver, There is a surface that touches me still. Unrendered like a morning smile, The joke is that it's a breathe away from our being. Serious as a cow I walk through it, Waving, now, from the other side. *For "Bite-Size Contest No27"*

serious as a cow sure struck me as funny! I enjoyed this bite sized poem and appreciate getting a placement from you. It may have been the first one I ever got, so I was kind of in shock!! Glad you liked its cheekiness!
