The Other Night
The other night as I watched
While you assembled the bookshelf
Casual conversation came so easy
Felt like we’d known each other for years
The other night as I watched
Preparing dinner was a breeze
Spontaneity made it more special
Having lemonade on a summer’s night
The other night as I watched
I saw the twinkle in your eyes
Turned on by the warmest smile
As we enjoyed a simple meal
