The Order of Thieves
She dances around
In the firelight
As the embers rise
Into the night
Brothers and cousins
Play fiddles and drums
Her skirt swirls around
As her spirit hums
She comes from a family
Of tramps and of thieves
She's a gypsy by nature
Like a tree with its leaves
By day as they hunger
They head into town
The women do dances
The men pilfer 'round
With all of their needs
They load up and go
Back to their camp
Until their next show
They see it as victory
For what they have won
They have no remorse
For what they have done
