The One Who Waits For You
The One Who Waits for You
A simple touch,
A few words to share,
Not asking for much, but, What will you spare?
You say that you’re busy.
I’ll wait because I care. Yet, my time never comes, Trust me if you dare.
I know that you need me,
But, I’m the last to which you turn.
I’ve been waiting for you.
I know how your heart yearns,
For true love and compassion, Not passing contentment.
Come to me my beloved.
Find the greatest fulfillment.
I am He who waits for you; Always by your side. Although not often acknowledged, From you I will not hide.
Unlike the others, My love will stand true. For I am your God;
The one who waits for you.
