The One Holding the Earth

L-et twenty ninth December O-pen the Thursday with light; U-nderneath the blue sky, Wednesday fades into the night. U-nless the dawn breaks, M-idnight dark will stay; I-t's a beautiful beacon, P-ainting with red the gray. I-‘m writing this acrostic, aiming to bring much mirth; G-iving you a thousand thrill like the one holding the earth.
