The Oasis

It's all an illusion see? Waste time chasing the oasis The oasis can chase me On the horizon about to break through The other side I arrive Unrecognized but not new Now I'm saying who is who While society plays make believe Tries transforming what is she Mind's imposed upon left thirsty An open scope prevents the choke Range cuts through noose of bias rope From this point, I dug deep Found the well I'd rather drink All the work gave me strength Now I never fall for just anything
