The New Me
I am a new creation,
This is a new sensation,
No more in condemnation,
I've had a revelation.
I know i'm not alone,
For Jesus is in me,
I'm filled up by the Spirit,
My path is brightly lit.
The old me is no more,
This I know for sure,
Bad habits are passed,
I'm set free at last.
He went willingly to die,
For you and for I,
He bore all the pain,
So we may live again.
When the devil tries to tempt you,
To go along his road,
Remember Jesus on that cross,
You can defy that horny toad.
