The Naked Now

The Naked Now There is an efficacious emptiness within the naked now Where souls are salvaged and left to bitterly bow Where thoughts cascade and delusionally disappear And love laments fermenting to flourishing fear Where dreams of reality become reality of dreams With mellifluous memories running through the streams You can not gallantly grasp what is not there As you slowly breathe the fallible fictitious air Where nothing lasts forever and forever is everlasting And the sweet sounds of silence bellow blasting The laughter finally settles on the enchanted bough For we solely stand nefarious in the naked now. The mere concept of this poem shows a depth of thought that lays naked on the throne of contemplation..my first thought after reading your poem..question..can our minds even conceive of forever or are we limited by the range of our own perception?..good luck in the contest, this is a really good poem
