The Mouse and the Fish

She was a fish, And I was a mouse, And I couldn't understand why she wouldn't live in my house. Nor could I hold My breath near as long As my lover the fish could submerge all night long. So I, the mouse Admitted she is a fish And begged and hoped and prayed my wish But as she could not breathe And I couldn't stop I just knew that elsewhere my girlfriend I should shop. How I loved my fish I desired her so But beautiful girls as her wane to and fro. But I'm just a mouse And she,a fish, And never would she be my special dish.
