The Morning Snow

The Morning Snow The morning snow was just beginning the sun had yet to rise The snow that fell from the night was glittering before my eyes. Daylight is swiftly approaching and it's that time, To write another poem; for that's my calling a gift I must rhyme. A blanket of morning snow a beauty that cannot be contained, Night is now just a memory for it's time for me to proclaim! As the winter wind blows through the leafless trees, I start my morning prayer down on bended knees. The wind through the trees softly sings a melody, As it beckons the sun to ascend for us to see. Now the freezing chill of the morning snow fades away , As the sun slowly comes out to brighten Gods given day. WrittenBy: Barbie Kirk 02-26-15 10:34 am
