The sad reality is that people do go to these extremes to paint over the cracks in their lives. Many congrats on your win in the contest Carolyn :)

Congratulations on your win, Carolyn : ) Thanks - your comp was really good fun. Sue couldn't sleep so we've been up since 5 am - I could sleep for England now, but I've got to get ready for work. Yes, LOL, I reckon the Grim Reaper really did take one look at Janie and ran! Hope you get Woman in Black soon - I saw a review for it somewhere advising people to read it with the lights on - it wouldn't be much good trying to read it in the dark LOL. Have a great day, my friend : )

yes, you are so right, Carolyn. I am seeing many good entries in your contest. I often enjoy your contests. But something about fish. ahha. REmember how I balked at Agape's fish limerick contest. When I finally found a "hook" for that one, I felt great. Hope I find the hook for yours!

Different, and cute! (well, yeah, I will share the inheritance. Obviously she can't control us from the grave. But she is down on me at the moment. She goes thru phases! By the time they are finished messing up their lives, there will be no inheritance anyway and I will be sharing in the task of cleaning up the mess they are leaving for us all. I can't go into detail but it's going to be awful!)

I enjoyed the dark humor in your poem. I don't think I've ever seen a money tree but I sure would like to have one growing in my backyard. Good luck in the contest. Best to you, Diane

Lovely thought, Carolyn - if only, eh? LOL I'll have to check out the link and see if it's similar to my mother's jade plant, which is known as a 'money plant/tree' - it kind of reminds me of a stegosaurus. Mum's is small at the moment and in a pot on the kitchen window sill.

My uncle actually also purchased one before, hmm didn't seem to work ;)? really liked how you chose a unique tree for your dodoitsu, Carolyn ;) and yup- I am actually trying to do some sort of balancing act (ok metaphorically speaking lol) and I am not succeeding, oh yikes! Well I am up to make some mini cheesecakes for my nephew's 1st bday this Sunday so looking forward to that ;) hugs & thanks for the heads up, will head on over to Charles blog then I gotta catch some zzzs lol ;) happy fishing
