The Moments We Share

It’s the smallest things, That mean so much, From your gentle ways, To your soft loving touch. It’s a dance in the darkness, When we’re all alone, Making special moments, When away or at home. It’s the moments you hold me, And just let me cry, As you kiss me gently on the forehead, Until the sadness passes by. It’s the moments you tell me, How much you really care, These words are so special, For they are feelings we share. It’s the moments when you tell me, How sorry you are, With gentleness and humility, In my heart these words go so far. It’s the moments we share, When no words are spoken, Holding each other close, With a bond that can’t be broken. It’s the moments we share, As we travel and explore, The emotions we experience, Happiness, joy, and the things we adore. It’s the moments when I see, The tears in your eyes, From sadness, joy or pain, And your incredible heart I greater realize. It’s the moments we share, Every minute of the day, That make me look forward, To our future together some day.
