The Moment I Wished the Time to Stop

Once upon a time, In a not so far away land, There were you and me, At the edge of the deep blue sea. It was a bright sunny day, And you were ten feet away, But the next time I found you, Was right here next to me. Splashing water, a playful fight, You tried to stop me, held my hand tight. In that moment, my world went still, My mind was empty, heart’s beating with a thrill. Lost in the moment, what should I do? I'm captivated, feeling genuine and true. That touch, a memory somehow, Still lingers, feeling it now.
