Sad movies end with tears flowing
freely from her misty blue eyes.
And every romantic moment,
culminates in moans and soft sighs.
My friend and the source of my strength,
she nurtures my hopes as they climb.
For she's the rock that I cling to,
when dreams are swept away by time.
She is a passionate lover,
showering me with sweet kisses.
And her face lights up with a smile
when referred to as the missus.
She's a kitten with the children
but a tiger in their defense.
And if you give her any lip,
her reprisal will be intense.
A fledgling bird that's left the nest,
she's both an eagle and a dove.
And the epitome of grace,
she's my wife, the angel I love.
