The Mind

(Written on 3/31/93, age 12) It was the strangest thing, But still quite extraordinary. I faintly heard an eerie sound Somewhere hidden In the shimmering stars, By the glistening moonlight. Spinning and jittery, Getting higher and higher, I peer through my imagination. There I feel strange and awkward Between the sunbeam. Polished like silver I get swept away To an enchanted land.
