The Midnight Hour
In our old age reminiscing
Of moonlight and midnight kissing
We'll talk of today’s sweet memories
Beneath gnarled branches of our favourite tree
Recalling the cuddles and the dancing
Of moonlight and midnight romancing,
Those memories are imprinted on my mind
In my heart its midnight all the time.
Velvet blue sky with diamond like stars
No on can explain a love like ours
Time passes like there is no tomorrow
Midnight dreams can cause us sorrow
Reminding us of days gone past
Of hopes and dreams that didn’t last
True love has kept our spirits free
Together forever for eternity
Though the darkest hour can sometimes disappoint
Midnight can also inspire and rock the joint
Encouraging romantic couples to dance and sing
Face up to everything that life can bring
Yes, we'll dance in that midnight rain
Twist and shout and then twist again
In the certain knowledge that one day soon
We'll share a midnight honeymoon
