The Message From a Dog

A dog has told me that snakes were at that house, To help stop the fight ‘twixt the cat and the mouse. Some cobra said: ‘Cat, just let the mouse to be your friend.’ Cat responded: ‘He ate my cheese; I’ll fight him to bitter end.’ ‘What do you have to say about this, mouse?’ python said. But the mouse was so quiet for long enough as if he hadn’t heard. Then cat said: ‘You see that’s his attitude; he never listens, does he? Just let me kill him, perchance that’s just how it is meant to be.’
