The Memories

Where can I put the memories? Some safe place, secure from mind's escape protected well and capable of random reshapes. With age it seems, they slip away unclear and cloudy with each new day. Never thought I'd even one forget but the years fade with sincere regret. More simply mind holds feelings of the heart emotions, sensations that never part. Just yesterday or last week or last month I sifted thru the albums in the old trunk. Names failed me but not the faces familiar they were in unknown places. Tears and laughter quickly rise between memories of all my tries To remember is but a dream shrouded by life's recurring themes. A friend, a love, a family all remains but a memory.
