A fanciful way of describing water from melting icicles as tears. To me, they would be tears of joy realizing that winter is passing into spring.

Your great piece brought back childhood memories to me my dear friend. A poet's gift you just gave! As young brothers we would get the long icicles from the barn and sword fight with them. A fav.. another gem you have created and gifted us.

A new thought to me - the drip of icicles as music (and hope of spring).
