The Meaning of Thanksgiving Thanksgiving is a Blessing in and of itself, Not something, that just sits upon a shelf. An act of giving, a symbol of gratitude, An expression of love, displayed through attitude! Thanksgiving is a Blessing in and of itself, A prayer for those, less fortunate then oneself! It’s a day spent with family, friends, or foe, A greeting or sentiment, by wire or telephone! Thanksgiving, is a Blessing in and of itself, Not something that just sits upon a shelf. It’s a holiday tradition, cumulated by a hearty feast Celebrated by many from the North, South, West and East!
