The Meadow

Tall honey- tinted grass Sweet-scented wildflowers Kaleidoscope of colors. Balmy warm air Slow darkening sky As the dim night falls. Moon so luminous Stars so shimmering Hours of darkness have come. Slow approaching radiance As the dawn breaks Light creeps over the earth. Warm sunlight hours Have finally arrived Sun-kissed meadow so bright. The meadow so hushed The day is gone Light retreating gently away.
