The Mausoleum of Seculars Dreams

Crooked teeth upon rotting smiles.... Bearing their canines for the throne to behold The petrified flesh of these fruits they share Decomposing souls, which might have once been Had they ever learned? Had they ever known? Caught within these crowds of invisible things Chasing leviathans Loch Ness dreams.... While the martyred they cry for the countless ones And the Angels prepare, their chariots but still These ferocious tongues that fill the forest with fires Of wanton visions, within the mausoleums of their own Identities, reflecting from a reflectless mirror, carry on.... But their hourglass of opportunity is soon to run dry The thorns among the flowers of Heavens child While the swords are sheathed, and the horses are bridled Clutching, onto their last bit of dust, and unaware Had they only heard? Had they only understood? These crooked teeth upon their rotting smiles An end, to the victorious vile...."Within" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The mausoleum, of seculars dreams! {Repost}

Don't know how I missed this one earlier, John. Perhaps because it was posted before I became active on the Soup. The character with the "rotting teeth" is quite compelling. You present his "view" very well. Glad you share my interest in Loch Ness. Very good work (as always), John.

Hi John! This was very visual and expressive! I actually wrote a poem on this very subject a couple of months ago that I have yet to post, amazing how some visuals that are seemily not related to a subject, are just naturally seen by many? Like in my poem like this, the guy has rotting teeth. excellent! Love, Kristin

Hey to you! A graphically visual piece, John.."rotting smiles".."bearing their canines"..reflections "from a reflectless mirror". Maybe about one who won't acknowledge, or cannot clearly see their own intention? This is packed with images and symbolism...very profound writing, John! Wishing you and yours the best...God bless! love to you...Mikki

well, well... forgive me dear for not making myself more clear...(hurrying to comment today) now that you have slowed me down, just want to say that I really enjoyed this piece because it provoked thought and spiritualistic review of one's intentions in life. I believe we all need this at times in our life but also, I believe the Lord knows and understands...afterall, He knows every thought, intention... very well written to convey a strong message. All my best, hugs, Lucinda
