The Man Behind the Shades
The sun was shining
In a hazy yellow light
On your polished profile
During an afternoon drive
And I couldn't help but stare
at the man behind the Shades
I never knew
How much we'd Love
As we met one lazy Sunday
I walked along the bar stools
Music playing in my head
and sat among the crowded room
To see Him across the way
I knew he'd be the One i'm with
So Happy in the sheets
Even today, it floats around
In and out my head
That I could fall asleep each night
And wake, with him, in bed.
