The Magic Of The Oak (Part 4 of 4) A Green and White Production With peach marmalade We played in the shade Composing a piece about love When in flew one more To sing an encore While riding the back of a dove One elf that seemed mute Played on his panflute A song we joined singing out loud A fairy appeared And when she flew near I jumped up, blushed red, and then bowed Her wings were of lace Just dancing in place A sunflower gracing her head A quick pirouette Was all we did get She then flew off headed for bed For it was sun dawn I stifled a yawn, abruptly the night turned to day One elf was snoring It was pretty boring I stood up and tiptoed away These visions I’ll keep But now I must sleep For something inside does insist I spent the whole eve And now I believe That fairies and elves do exist *** July 11, 2017 Copyright © Chris Green and Darren White

So even when an elf is snoring, it's boring. But your tale is endearing!

This is such a fun read especially for the young at heart who still believe in Fairies and Goblins and the good stuff. You should keep writing, you have the makings of a great book here. Great collaboration Darren and Chris...Maria

Wonderful, enchanting from start to finish. Sort of a Willy Wonka meets Tinkerbell kind of tale. Well done you two, bravo...
