The Love In Me
When you come in front of me
I was thinking why?
No one has ever noticed me before
The world would just pass me by
And I didn't really care much about it
Netflix and a six-pack of bud light
Sitting on my sofa with mac and cheese
Pretty much sums up my date night
Sometimes I would spend stupid money
But I always got something saved
Live a little, spend a little
You can't take it with you to the grave
So yeah, my life's summary
And it may sound strange but it's true
Never in my life had I ever expected
To meet a girl as beautiful as you
Now I got the biggest smiles on my face
My smile is almost bigger than yours
I feel like when I was a little boy for Christmas
And you are my lady Santa clause
And now I can't live in the world
Without you in it
You open the seal in my heart
And release the loving spirit
I know my words are simple
The ones people say in everyday use
My words are really quite open
So, it won't get you to confuse
The day you look at me
It changes everything I knew
This broken-down transmission
Was now suddenly new
And ready to take on the roads
And the highway was paved with love
All of a sudden, the wind was blowing back my hair
As the sun shines from above
And right next to me was you
Smelling sweet and looking nice
And we become a commanding force
Like ultraviolet and old spice
My God, girl
You have no idea what you have done
Your love is like me holding a winning mega ticket
And jumping with joy, saying I won, I won
You said that you just like me
And it turns to love when you talk to me
Inside of me, you see the quality
That the plain eyes couldn't see
I didn't know that I was special
So, I ask if you need glasses
You say "don't be silly"
And to your heart, you give me boarding passes
And here we are
Enjoying the cruise of a lifetime
Taking shuts of tequila
With salt and lime
Yes, girl you surprise me
When you crash my party
And I love you, yes, I love you
For bringing out the love in me
