The Long Goodbye
You tell you no longer want me
With a lame ass it's not me it's
you
Then you berate the women I
date
Tell me what it is you want me
to do.
You call at inopportune
moments
And talk like we did as a
couple
You broke up with me
But you can't set me free
Then make me feel like the
one who's in trouble.
I tell you I'm trying to move
on
And that you should try doing
the same
You then offer that I could
improve on
Someone you know only by
name.
I was clay in your holds for the
molding
Your deck of cards stacked and
ready to cut
Now it's time you start to think
about folding
Have a nice life, good night
and good luck.
